I built with springs
And these duct tape tin can wings
Woke among crows
In my finest Sunday clothes
I told my tale
In a cold plutonium hail
Wrapped in a shroud
A corrosive mushroom cloud
La da da...
I built with love
For the death of smaller bugs
Tore out your homes
With my foggy fission foam
And all I could see
Were the roaches and debris
Because life's pretty calm
For an old atomic bomb
La da da...
Giver of my name
You put all of the pieces in a perfect frame
Blood of my veins
You made me in your image, still we're not the same
But are you breathing?
Are you breaking down?
Scarecrow
Two-face with the crown
Don't tell me where you hid it, tell me where it's found
Don't you mess around
I'll take all of these chords and make the strangest sound
But are you singing?
Are you sinking in?
Straw man
One thing that I've heard is:
A man will become what he's looking for
And oh, this is what I fear
Oh, this is what I fear
But are you searching?
Are you certain now?

This album has accompanied my life for nearly a decade and all the changes that time has brought. I love this music for so many reasons, but it is my ultimate comfort music for all my moods. Although I'm saddened that Jeff Pianki doesn't post to youtube anymore like the good old days, his sound is still distinct and warm. Can't imagine my life with out it. Abrande
